Doug was born and raised near Springfield, Missouri. His sometimes turbulent childhood was firmly anchored by music. He began playing piano at age six, and first picked up a trumpet in fifth grade. In high school, he added the French horn and trombone to his inventory of instruments.
All during the years spent raising his two sons, driving over-the-road trucks, piloting a hot air balloon named, ‘Rainbow Rider’, doing field accounting and auditing throughout Wyoming, and then working in I.T. , music called. That call was answered

periodically in the form of playing in small local bands, for church services, as well as the occasional wedding or funeral.
Shortly after re-locating to Parks, Arizona early in 2008, Doug was invited to play keyboards for a band called ‘Mile Marker 12’. He accepted the invitation and began getting re-acquainted with his beloved music. One year later, Doug decided to return to Wyoming and fully dedicate himself to the pursuit of his passion for music.
Currently, Doug resides in Gardiner, Montana and spends his leisure time in Yellowstone National Park. |
